The Rotary Club of Fonthill is partnering with White Meadows Farms and EL Crossley Secondary School to host Family FarmFest at White Meadows Farms on June 17th in Pelham. Organizers say the event will create an exciting interactive farming playground and a forum promoting local not-for-profit organizations along with educational farming exhibits and activities. Kids will test their skills at the hands-on Try-A-Trade Skills Pavilion, see all-that’s-farming up close and maybe learn to milk a cow. Additional highlights include farm themed games and presentations from 4-H Clubs and local community interest groups. The whole community is invited to participate, and a family of 4 can enjoy a full day of farm fun for $50 per family, Early Bird $40 until May 16 (or $15 ea. adult, $10 ea. kid 3-13). Proceeds from the event will allow the Rotary Club to support local community organizations focused on children and youth initiatives.
