Welland Public Works staying ready for typical winter weather

Despite some snow the last few days, it’s still be a much more mild winter than many people are used to.

One of those people is James Sticca, Welland’s Manager of Public Works. He says it’s been a relief compared to last year.

Sticca adds that Public Works stays ready starting in October for inclement weather.

Sticca says that any material that doesn’t get used during winter clearing operations this year, can be stored as surplus and used next winter.
