Niagara Regional Police says no children were injured in a collision involving a school bus this morning.
Just before 8:00am, officers responded to reports of a collision between a school bus and a car at the intersection of Ontario Road and Canal Bank Street in Welland. At the time, there were four children on the bus along with the driver, all of which were uninjured.
The driver of the car suffered what’s believed to be minor injuries. The area was closed for investigation, but has since been reopened. Police also add that this is related to reports of a school bus collision near Prince Charles Drive and Thorold Road around 8:30am.
There’s no word on charges at this time.
