Brock University’s Assistant Professor of Physics, Barak Shoshany, advises early preparation for the upcoming total solar eclipse set to grace southern Ontario skies on April 8.
The rare astronomical event, occurring when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, is expected to draw significant attention to the region.
Shoshany, a member of the Ontario Eclipse Task Force, underscores the importance of safe viewing methods, recommending certified eclipse glasses or pinhole projectors.
Brock University will be hosting an official eclipse event featuring free certified glasses and educational sessions.
