A Niagara Falls woman has been named one of the most influential women in the world for 2024.
The Top 25 Women of Influence list was announced this week, and highlights women from across the globe each year.
Dr. Pamela Farrell, who founded Grow Community Food Literacy Centre in Niagara Falls, says she was honoured to be recognized.
She says this award is a tremendous spotlight for the work done at Grow.
Other notable Canadian winners from previous years include Christine Sinclair, Mary Simon and Penny Oleksiak.
