Extra GO Train trips to Niagara during the solar eclipse have once again raised the question – why not every day?
Niagara Falls, Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake MPP Wayne Gates raised the question on social media today, after Metrolinx announced additional trips for people travelling from Toronto to Niagara Falls for the total solar eclipse.
In a post, Gates said “If we can do this today, we should be doing it every day. It’s long past time to get two-way, all day, every day GO Train service in Niagara Falls.”
Gates went on to emphasize he feels it would boost the economy, environment and allow for more commuters as well.
