Niagara Regional Police are investigating human remains being found in West Lincoln.
Wednesday night, officers were called to the area of Young Street and South Grimsby Road 6 about the report, before finding a jawbone that’s believed to be human. Further investigation found more remains and clothing. Police are continuing to investigate with the assistance of the Forensic Services Unit and a forensic anthropologist.
At this time, the cause of death and identity of the person have not been confirmed. We’ll provide any updates as they become available.
