St. Catharines MPP Jennie Stevens introduced a bill at Queen’s Park this week – titled the Affordable Home Heating Act.
The bill would create a Heating Support Program to assist seniors and families that are struggling with the host of keeping their homes heated.
Stevens, who is an NDP MPP, urged the Ford government to pass the legislation, citing the cost-of-living throughout the Province.
