The Niagara region hosted the International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) conference and trauma skills competition for the first time, where Niagara EMS staff rose to the occasion.
The event featured paramedic teams from around the globe competing in three challenging trauma scenarios that tested their critical thinking and teamwork, with Niagara taking first place.
Niagara EMS says this success highlights the professionalism and teamwork their service brings to the job every single day.
