Tomorrow is World Toilet Day, and the Niagara Region wants to celebrate.
At both 9:00am and 1:00pm, the region is hosting free guided tours of the Port Dalhousie Wastewater Treatment Plant for the public.
The facility is one of 11 plants in the region that process 187.5-million litres of sewage daily to protect the Great Lakes.
Visitors must be 12 or older, wear closed-toe shoes, and register in advance.
