The Niagara IceDogs are helping give back to those that need it today.
From 11:00am to 7:00pm, players will be stationed at Mark’s No Frills on Lake Street in St. Catharines collecting ham and turkey donations for Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold.
Senior Advisor to Business Operations Geoffrey Hare says community partnerships are critical.
If you donate a ham or turkey, you’ll receive two tickets to an upcoming game, a $5 No Frills coupon and a cookie. Hare says giving away tickets in exchange for food on someone’s table is a fair trade.
The hams are ready-to-serve and range from 7-8lbs priced at $25, while Grade-A turkeys range from 7-9kg and are available for $29.
The following games are available to choose from:
1. Thursday, November 21st vs. Sault Ste. Marie
2. Thursday, November 28th vs. Guelph
3. Friday, November 29th vs. Flint
4. Friday, December 6th vs. Brampton
