One of the most recognizable ships in Canada has had a rough start to the winter season.
Theodore Too, a small tugboat known for its smiling face and bright red hat, took on water while tied up at the dock at Ontario Shipyards in St. Catharines.
The ship had previously been located in Nova Scotia, but was related to Ontario in 2021 and was featured in the children’s show ‘Theodore Tugboat’ on CBC.
Owner Blair McKeil says they are working on a refloating plan, as the ship is partially submerged, before it is craned out and set ashore.
