Niagara Regional Police say a driver pushing their luck over the weekend was caught at a RIDE check.
On Saturday, officers were set up in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland, when one driver passed through a RIDE check with no issues. Hours later, the same driver was stopped after driving too fast and without headlights, before police determined they had been drinking since they were stopped last.
In total, over 300 vehicles were stopped throughout the evening, with 38 being asked to give a breath sample.
