Throughout this week we will be highlighting a different Provincial election riding in the Niagara Region, starting with the most populated riding in the region today: Niagara Falls.
The riding, which has a population of over 136,000, has been represented by NDP incumbent Wayne Gates since 2014, who earned 48% of the vote in the last election in 2022.
Also running in Niagara Falls is City Councillor Ruth-Ann Nieuwesteeg for the Progressive Conservatives, Liberal candidate Shafoli Kapur, Green candidate Celia Taylor, Gary Dumelie of the New Blue Party, Andrew Soifert of the Ontario Party and independent candidate Joedy Burdett.
Election day is February 27th.
