Doug Ford will serve a third term as Premier of Ontario.
The Progressive Conservatives had a very successful night across Ontario, projected to form a third majority government since 2018.
In Niagara however, a different story. Just one of the region’s four ridings was won by a Progressive Conservative candidate, as Sam Oosterhoff was re-elected in Niagara West.
The NDP were successful in Niagara Falls with Wayne Gates, Niagara Centre with Jeff Burch and St. Catharines with Jennie Stevens, all of which were re-elected.
The NDP also formed official opposition status, while the Liberal Party finished in third.
More to come.
