
Jennie Stevens will remain MPP for St. Catharines, winning her riding by over 3000 votes.
She defeated Sal Sorrento of the Progressive Conservatives and Liberal candidate Robin McPherson during this campaign.
Stevens says its the NDP’s job to keep the majority government accountable over the next four years.
Audio PlayerThe ridings of Niagara Centre and Niagara Falls were also won by NDP candidates on Thursday, as both Jeff Burch and Wayne Gates were re-elected.
Stevens says its important to work together with the government in power, even if they’re in different parties.

Stevens has held the riding St. Catharines since 2018.
