
Niagara Regional Police says four drivers have had their licenses suspended.
This comes as the service stopped over 270 vehicles as part of St. Patrick’s Day R.I.D.E checks in Thorold, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.
Of the 270 vehicles stopped, 27 were asked for a breath sample, while four had their licenses suspended for providing a sample that resulted in an alert warning.
12 tickets were also issued for various traffic offence, while one man was arrested at a spot check for an outstanding warrant.
