Superintendent Mario Lagrotteria has a new title with the Niagara Regional Police Service – Deputy Chief of Police.
Lagrotteria, who began his policing career in 2001, has held various leadership roles with the Niagara Regional Police since 2006.
Most recently, he served as Acting Deputy Chief of Community Services.
A decorated officer with extensive experience, he also holds degrees in forensic science and biology and has completed leadership training at the FBI National Academy.
A date for his introduction ceremony will be announced soon.
