A British Columbia man has been arrested in connection to a local human trafficking investigation.
Last August, police began investigating a woman over the age of 18 that was being trafficked throughout Toronto and Niagara Falls. Two suspects were arrested in October while a third, 36-year-old Colin Bayley, was arrested recently.
Bayley has been charged with sexual assault, assault and uttering threats to cause death. He was arrested by RCMP earlier this month, and escorted back to Ontario. Detectives also believe that there may be additional victims and/or survivors and are requesting that they contact police.
