Niagara College has once again celebrated the achievements of Indigenous students at its second annual Indigenous Student Awards Banquet.
Held at Club Roma, the event recognized 22 students, including four recipients of the Dr. Phyllis Webstad Indigenous Scholarship.
Dr. Webstad, founder of Orange Shirt Day, attended to meet the recipients and share her story.
The College aims to grow the scholarship fund to support all Indigenous students.
