A 74-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a hit and run in St. Catharines.
Sunday around 8:00am, police say a newer model Buick SUV hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Carlton Street and Grantham Avenue, before taking off westbound on Carlton.
Yesterday, Michael Gospodarek of St. Catharines was arrested and charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, and impaired driving.
The victim remains in serious but stable condition at an out-of-region hospital.
