Over 7000 concert-goers at the Meridian Centre enjoyed the sounds of Jelly Roll last night, and all for a good cause.
The breakout artist played his first ever Canadian show in St. Catharines, with 100% of the proceeds supporting the Heather Winterstein Foundation, an organization that supports Indigenous youth.
During his set, Jelly changed his set-list to include songs about overcoming addiction – while fans in attendance were holding signs with names of people they’ve lost to addiction. He also took a few moments to share a message of hope for anyone who may be going through any personal issues themselves.
Audio PlayerThe messages of hope didn’t go unnoticed by attendees either. Shawn from Welland brought his 14-year-old son, who was going to his first ever concert. He says it was the perfect experience.
