Brock University’s messiest tradition is back tomorrow.
Students and alumni with gather Friday for the annual Homecoming Grape Stomp, crushing a total of two tons of Concord Grapes in Jubilee Court.
Part of both Homecoming and the University’s 60th anniversary celebrations, the event will feature live music and a free BBQ, while participants are asked to show up in costume at 11:30am.
The event has been hailed by University Affairs magazine as one of the best university traditions in Canada. This year’s grapes come courtesy of Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery, which also has longstanding connections to the University.
